Decades of power plant experience makes Schmöle an essential partner in the construction and operation of facilities for renewable energy. For example, a solar power plant in India with a remarkable power capacity only uses Schmöle finned tubes to ensure the most efficient energy output.
The working principle hardly differs from the many conventional power plants. A primary heat exchanger heats steam to over 650° degrees and drives the first turbine stage. The primary steam flows into the high pressure side of the turbine where it is reheated using Schmöle finned tubes to drive the second stage of the turbine. Only systems which offer absolute reliability are used because any failure of the intermediate steam heater would lead to the breakdown of the entire system.
